Great to meet you!

Hi! My name is Furness Norton and I have been formally working in various clinical settings since 2017. Since graduating with my Master's in Mental Health Counseling, I draw upon an eclectic approach that draws from cognitive, behavioral, relational, and mindfulness practices. I currently specialize in working with first and second generation immigrants, LGBTQIA+ identified folk, and people struggling with mood and anxiety disorders.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is one in which I center my clients as the expert of their experience to learn to trust themselves and develop greater curiosity into habits and mutually identified areas of focus/concern.

What you can expect from me

After working with me, clients can expect to have the increased ability to articulate and assertively communicate their emotions and needs in relationships, a greater sense of self-knowledge, and increased mental/emotional flexibility to respond to the ever-changing world that we live in.
