Great to meet you!

Hi! I am the owner of Mending Minds Therapeutic Services and a Licensed Professional Counselor practicing in Georgia. I earned by Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Georgia College & State University and a Master's Degree in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University. I have primarily worked with survivors of abuse and trauma while treating mental health issues including: Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Bipolar Disorder, Personality Disorders, and more. For any questions and inquiries about more available session times, please call or text (706)471-0705.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is eclectic and individualized. I believe therapy is not one-size-fits-all, and I take a person-centered approach that honors each individual’s unique experiences, strengths, and needs. I aim to provide a warm, accepting, and collaborative therapeutic environment, while also being direct and honest in a way that supports growth without sacrificing compassion or empathy. My goal is to create an emotionally safe and supportive space where clients feel comfortable exploring challenges, building insight, and moving forward on their personal journey toward healing.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect their first session with me to feel supportive and collaborative. We will spend time getting to know one another, discussing what brought you to therapy, and identifying what you hope to gain from our work together. I will ask questions to better understand your experiences, strengths, and current challenges, while also allowing space for you to share at your own pace. We will review confidentiality, discuss how therapy works, and begin identifying goals that feel meaningful and attainable. Above all, my priority in the first session is to create an emotionally safe, nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, respected, and supported as we begin your therapeutic journey.
