Great to meet you!

I have provided therapeutic services within schools, in-home settings working with the whole family dynamic, and clinical settings. My most influential position was at a women’s and children's homeless shelter. I was the children's clinical director and worked hands-on with families at a time in their lives when they were experiencing extreme lows. This strengthened my values of working as a team and understanding the importance of human communication, emotions, and feelings.

My approach to therapy

My approach is holistic and collaborative approach that focuses on strengthening as well as empowering families, parents, couples, and individuals to reach their full potential. Training includes child-parent psychotherapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, and the Gottman Method for couples/relationships.

What you can expect from me

As an African-Caribbean American female, I have been privy to many experiences that have aided in my ability to be empathic, a great listener, and a problem-solver. The exposure to these things has positively impacted my ability to stay open-minded and look at situations holistically. I believe in looking at life circumstances as a continuous wave of emotions and offering tools to help "ride the wave." I embrace generational values and morals and use them to shape my view of the world.
