Great to meet you!

Therapy is often sought out when something isn’t working in our lives. My role in the therapeutic process is to provide you with the tools and feedback necessary to help you believe in yourself in a way that may not have seemed possible. In working with me, you can expect compassion and understanding as we collaborate together to explore your potentials. I genuinely enjoy helping others cultivate healthy relationships and make meaningful changes.

My approach to therapy

I use a solution-focused approach, which means we spend less time digging into what's wrong and more time figuring out what you want your life to look like — and building real, practical steps to get there. I believe you already have a lot of the insight and strength needed for change; my job is to help you find it and put it to use.

I also help clients notice patterns that keep showing up — in relationships, work, or how you respond to stress. We explore these with curiosity, not judgment, to better understand what's really going on and open up new ways of handling familiar situations.

I incorporate elements of Reality Therapy, which focuses on the choices we make and how well those choices are meeting our needs. Together, we'll look at whether your current patterns are helping you get closer to what you want, and work toward changes that actually fit your life.

My style is practical, collaborative, and focused on the present and future. I want our sessions to bring clarity to things that feel overwhelming, and to leave you with tools you can actually use — so you can move from feeling stuck to feeling confident and in control.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is really about getting to know each other. I'll ask about what's bringing you to therapy, what's been going on in your life, and what you're hoping to get out of our work together. There's no pressure to have it all figured out — we'll work through it together.

You can expect a conversation that feels collaborative rather than clinical. I'll ask questions to understand your situation, your strengths, and what "better" would actually look like for you. By the end of the session, we'll start to map out some initial goals and talk about what our work together might look like moving forward.

Above all, this is your space. Come as you are — I'm here to listen, understand, and help you leave with a little more clarity than when you walked in.
