Your first therapy session is a chance to begin in a supportive, low-pressure space.
We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy and what feels most important right now. You don’t need to have everything figured out—we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
I may ask questions about your background and experiences to better understand you as a whole person. We’ll also discuss how therapy works, my approach, confidentiality, and what future sessions might look like.
The first session is about connection and fit. There’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready for. Many clients leave feeling a sense of relief, clarity, or reassurance that they don’t have to do this alone.
