Gabriel Albanese

My name is Gabriel Albanese and I am a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) dedicated to promoting mental wellness through compassionate and patient-centered care.

I earned my master’s degree from Rowan University as an acute care adult-gerontology nurse practitioner, and followed with a post-master’s certificate in psychiatry and mental health. I am board certificated through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) in both specialties, and currently licensed to practice in New Jersey. I’m committed to ongoing professional development to remain at the forefront of advancements in the psychiatric field to provide the best possible outcomes for my patients.

My approach to providing care as a psychiatric nurse practitioner is centered on creating a supportive, individualized, and holistic treatment experience for each patient. I’m firm in the belief that effective mental health care begins with building a strong and trusting relationship with patients. It’s important that each person feels heard, respected, and empowered throughout their journey.

Throughout my career I have worked in a number of clinical settings, and this has refined my ability to provide thoughtful care for clients during their most challenging times. My mission is to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health and improve access to high-quality care for every individual in need. I seek to accomplish this by integrating diverse treatment approaches including appointment flexibility, medication management, psychotherapy, and lifestyle modifications to create a holistic path toward wellness.
