Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Barry University. My professional background includes outpatient therapy and university-based counseling, where I have worked with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, relational challenges, and life transitions. I specialize in trauma recovery, attachment concerns, and chronic anxiety patterns. My approach is thoughtful and grounded, and I work particularly well with high-functioning individuals who want deeper insight while also building practical coping skills.

My approach to therapy

My approach is trauma-informed and insight-oriented, integrating cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic work, and mindfulness-based techniques. I focus on helping clients understand the connection between their past experiences, current emotional patterns, and relationships. Therapy with me balances reflection and skill-building, so clients gain both deeper self-awareness and strategies to manage anxiety, regulate emotions, and improve communication.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will focus on understanding what brings you to therapy and what you hope to change. I’ll ask questions about your current challenges, relevant history, and goals, while making sure the pace feels comfortable. You can expect a structured but conversational space where we begin identifying patterns and outlining a clear direction for our work together.
