Great to meet you!

I am dedicated to supporting people impacted by anxiety, intimacy & communication challenges, grief & loss, depression, non recreational use of subatances, addiction, feeling stuck in life or their relationships. I specialize in addressing challenges such as perfectionism, critical self-talk, codependency, and relationship dynamics.

My approach to therapy

My approach is rooted in supporting clients to reconnect deeply with their authentic selves, fostering renewed health, and rediscovering a sense of purpose and connection. True growth, healing, and change necessitate repairing relationships with oneself, others, Spirit, and God. Despite my familial struggles, including two brothers' tragic deaths and my father's alcoholism, abuse, I've found emotional freedom, self-love, and a zest for life. As a therapist, I offer practical solutions without the fluff, guiding you toward tangible results.

What you can expect from me

My journey to becoming a therapist is deeply intertwined with my personal experiences, shaped by the resilience and challenges of my family history. My grandfather, a survivor of Pearl Harbor and a dedicated man of great labor aboard the USS Medusa during WWII, instilled in me a profound sense of strength and perseverance. However, the cycle of violence that plagued my biological father, an alcoholic who was both physically and emotionally abusive, cast a shadow over my upbringing. It took my mother 19 years to break free from this cycle. Along my journey, my two older brothers tragically passed away. Despite these hardships, I was fortunate to witness the transformative power of love and faith when my mother remarried. My stepfather, a retired Fire Captain and a man of God, brought stability and guidance into our lives. Alongside gaining another sister and a younger brother, both deeply embedded in the first responder community as a firefighter/EMT and firefighter, respectively, I experienced firsthand the complexities of a first responder family.Drawing from the depths of my journey, I guide individuals, couples, parents, and families through the intricate dance of emotional regulation, addiction, habit flow, and relationship dynamics. Together, we embark on a journey of exploration, delving deeply into these realms to unearth underlying patterns and create a roadmap for healing. Through our collaborative efforts, we craft a tailored plan designed to restore balance, resilience, and a sense of empowerment. My holistic perspective recognizes the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit, fostering holistic growth and transformation in my clients' lives. Overall, clients leave my sessions feeling uplifted, inspired, and equipped with practical tools to navigate life's challenges with resilience and grace.
