I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing care for adolescents and adults across Illinois. I understand that reaching out for mental health care can feel overwhelming, and my goal is to help you feel comfortable, heard, and respected from the beginning. My background in bedside nursing shaped my belief that good psychiatric care means looking beyond symptoms and taking the time to understand each person as a whole. I provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and integrative care in both English and Polish.

I believe medication is an important tool in psychiatric care, but it isn’t the only one. My approach combines evidence-based psychiatric treatment with integrative care that considers sleep, nutrition, movement, stress, and other factors that can influence mental health. I take time to understand what you’ve experienced, what you’ve already tried, and what you want to be different. I’ll explain my recommendations and the reasoning behind them so that we can make treatment decisions together.

Your first visit is a 60-minute evaluation, giving us time to talk without feeling rushed. We’ll discuss what brought you in, your symptoms, health and psychiatric history, previous treatments, medications, sleep, stress, daily life, and what you hope to improve. You’ll have time to ask questions and share your concerns in a welcoming, judgment-free environment. By the end of the visit, we’ll discuss your treatment options and decide together on the next steps that feel right for you.
