Great to meet you!

Hi, my name is Gabriela, and I am a trauma-informed, DBT-certified MSW and LCSW in Arizona. For the past five years, I have provided therapy to children, adults, military populations, and older adults with high and complex needs. I am passionate about creating a safe, supportive space where you can show up exactly as you are, without judgment. Together, we can explore what matters most to you at a pace that feels comfortable and supportive.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, compassionate, and collaborative. I believe therapy should be a safe and supportive space where you can show up exactly as you are, without judgment, while feeling heard and respected. Drawing from DBT and other evidence-based approaches, I work alongside you to build practical skills, navigate challenges, and better understand patterns that may be impacting your life. Most importantly, I meet you where you are and work at a pace that feels comfortable, focusing on what matters most to you and supporting you in creating meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming, and judgment-free space to begin getting to know one another. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you hope to work on, and what you would like to get out of the therapeutic process. I’ll also answer any questions you may have about therapy and explain what you can expect from working together. There is no pressure to share anything you’re not ready to discuss, and we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you and begin building a foundation of safety and trust.
