Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Dr. Gabriela Krebs, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of healthcare experience. I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, ADHD, mood disorders, and life transitions.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and judgment-free. I believe meaningful mental health care starts with feeling comfortable, understood, and supported. I strive to create a space where patients can openly discuss their concerns while working together toward realistic and sustainable goals.

I use an individualized treatment approach that may include medication management, supportive therapy, psychoeducation, and lifestyle-based strategies. As a bilingual provider fluent in English and Spanish, I value culturally sensitive care and meeting patients where they are in their mental health journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is warm, collaborative, and judgment-free — I believe meaningful mental health care begins with feeling truly comfortable, understood, and supported. I take an individualized approach with each patient, taking the time to thoroughly understand their unique emotional, psychological, and personal circumstances before developing a personalized treatment plan. Depending on individual needs and goals, care may include medication management, supportive therapy, psychoeducation, and lifestyle-based strategies. I work with adolescents and adults navigating a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, ADHD, mood disorders, and life transitions, and as a bilingual provider fluent in English and Spanish, I am committed to delivering culturally sensitive care that meets each patient exactly where they are in their mental health journey.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment during their first visit. I believe that building trust and creating a strong therapeutic relationship are essential components of effective mental health care. My goal is to ensure that each client feels heard, respected, and comfortable sharing their experiences and concerns.

The initial appointment includes a thorough psychiatric assessment that explores emotional, psychological, medical, social, and behavioral factors that may be affecting overall well-being. We will discuss current symptoms, personal history, stressors, past treatment experiences, medical history, medications, sleep patterns, relationships, and lifestyle factors in order to develop a comprehensive understanding of your needs.

I take a collaborative and individualized approach to care. By the end of the first visit, clients can expect to leave with a clearer understanding of their symptoms, diagnostic impressions, and treatment recommendations. Together, we will develop a personalized plan tailored to individual goals and needs, which may include medication management, supportive therapy, coping strategies, lifestyle modifications, or referrals for additional support when appropriate.

My priority is to create a safe and therapeutic space where clients feel empowered, informed, and supported throughout their mental health journey.
