Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with advanced training in psychiatric mental health, dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. I specialize in supporting individuals with a wide range of mental health concerns, offering a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment where patients feel heard and understood.

I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice with highest honors from Nova Southeastern University and completed my Family Nurse Practitioner training at the same institution. I am currently completing my Post-Master’s Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, further strengthening my ability to provide comprehensive mental health care. I also hold a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare from Florida International University.

My approach to psychiatric care is holistic and individualized. I work closely with patients to assess their needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and provide medication management when appropriate. I have a strong interest in treating conditions such as anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and stress-related concerns, while also emphasizing the importance of lifestyle, emotional well-being, and preventive care.

With a diverse clinical background in primary care, neonatal care, and hospital-based nursing, I bring a well-rounded perspective to mental health treatment—understanding the connection between physical and emotional health. I am fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing me to serve a diverse community.

My goal is to empower patients with the tools, education, and support they need to improve their mental health and overall quality of life in a compassionate and collaborative setting.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is compassionate, collaborative, and individualized. I believe that every patient’s experience is unique, so I take the time to truly listen, understand your concerns, and create a treatment plan that aligns with your goals, values, and lifestyle.

I provide a supportive and nonjudgmental space where you can feel comfortable discussing your mental health. My style is warm, attentive, and thorough—I focus not only on symptom relief but also on identifying underlying factors that may be affecting your well-being. I emphasize education so you can fully understand your diagnosis and treatment options, empowering you to take an active role in your care.

I specialize in the evaluation and management of conditions such as anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and stress-related concerns. My approach often includes medication management when appropriate, along with guidance on lifestyle modifications, coping strategies, and overall wellness.

With my background in primary care, I also consider the connection between physical and mental health, ensuring a holistic approach to treatment. Whether you are seeking support for a new concern or ongoing care, my goal is to help you feel supported, balanced, and confident in your path forward.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, you can expect a supportive, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable sharing your concerns. My goal is to get to know you as a whole person—not just your symptoms—so we will take time to discuss your current challenges, medical and mental health history, lifestyle, and any goals you have for treatment.

This initial visit is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. I will ask thoughtful questions to better understand what you’re experiencing, how it’s impacting your daily life, and what outcomes you’re hoping to achieve. You’ll also have plenty of space to ask questions and share what matters most to you.

Together, we will begin to develop a personalized treatment plan that may include medication management, lifestyle recommendations, and supportive strategies tailored to your needs. My focus is on collaboration, so you’ll be actively involved in every decision regarding your care.

By the end of the session, you can expect to have a clearer understanding of your symptoms, initial recommendations, and next steps. Most importantly, my aim is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and confident about your path forward.
