Great to meet you!

As a clinical psychologist, I believe one of the greatest tools we have for navigating life is greater self-knowledge. The challenges we experience are often shaped by the interplay of emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual dimensions of our lives. Psychotherapy offers a space to explore these layers, understand the roots of our symptoms and patterns, and develop greater self-awareness so that we can make informed choices and restore a greater sense of well-being.

While I have experience supporting individuals with a wide range of concerns, I feel particularly drawn to working with people experiencing relationship issues, anxiety, depression, identity-related concerns, women’s issues, and the effects of trauma. I also work with individuals who are interested in integrating spiritual practices into their lives. As a KAP provider, I support clients in thoughtfully integrating experiences involving psychedelics and altered states of consciousness into their ongoing personal growth and therapeutic process

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in supporting clients in cultivating psychological flexibility, compassion, and curiosity about the different—and often conflicting—aspects of themselves. Healing and growth often arise from understanding our relational patterns, inner dynamics, conflicts, and resources, as well as our capacity for choice. By bringing the unconscious into awareness and attending to the histories that have shaped us, we can experience greater freedom, access new choices, and give voice to stories that may have been suppressed. I support clients in deepening self-awareness, strengthening their sense of autonomy, and accessing greater satisfaction by examining and working with what is present, meaningful, painful, or challenging.

I am open-minded, curious, warm, and relational, and I strive to be attuned to what is needed—sometimes that means offering spaciousness, while at other times it calls for more direct guidance. I make use of thoughtful questioning, reflection, interpretation, and open dialogue to deepen insight and create space for inner revelations. I support clients in connecting with the values that give their lives direction while exploring meaning, purpose, and connection. I also pay close attention to the therapeutic relationship and to what emerges in the present moment.

My work is also informed by the mind-body connection, with the aim of cultivating greater somatic awareness and supporting a deeper connection between psychological and bodily experience.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will explore what brings you to therapy and get a sense of what it might be like to work together. I will give you space to talk about whatever feels most present, accessible, or comfortable for you. I will be engaged in the conversation and may ask questions about your history as it relates to what you are sharing. My hope is that you begin to experience therapy as a non-judgmental space where all parts of you are welcome.
