Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome! I'm Gabriella Coronel, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Florida. I have experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families in both school and outpatient mental health settings. As a bilingual therapist (English and Spanish), I am passionate about providing culturally responsive, compassionate care that helps clients feel understood, supported, and empowered.

I believe therapy should be a collaborative, nonjudgmental space where you can openly explore life's challenges while building practical skills to create meaningful change. My approach is client-centered and strengths-based, integrating evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, mindfulness, trauma-informed care, and family systems approaches. Together, we'll create a treatment plan that is tailored to your unique goals, strengths, and experiences.

I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, emotional regulation difficulties, relationship challenges, behavioral concerns, parenting challenges, and school-related issues. I also enjoy helping individuals develop healthy coping strategies, improve communication, build resilience, and increase confidence in navigating everyday life.

I earned my Master of Social Work degree and am currently pursuing my Doctor of Social Work (DSW), with a focus on expanding access to quality mental health services for children and adolescents. My professional experience as both a school social worker and therapist has given me a strong understanding of the emotional, academic, and family systems that influence overall well-being.

Whether you're seeking support for yourself, your child, or your family, my goal is to provide a safe, supportive environment where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to move toward lasting growth. I look forward to being part of your journey.

My approach to therapy

I believe that therapy is most effective when it feels like a genuine partnership. My role is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you can openly share your thoughts, emotions, and experiences while working toward meaningful, lasting change.

My approach is client-centered, strengths-based, and tailored to your individual needs and goals. I draw from evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, mindfulness, trauma-informed care, and family systems approaches. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all method, I work collaboratively with each client to develop strategies that fit their unique situation.

I help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while building practical coping skills to manage anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, emotional regulation, life transitions, relationship concerns, self-esteem, and behavioral challenges. When working with children and adolescents, I incorporate developmentally appropriate interventions and partner closely with parents and caregivers to support growth both in and outside of therapy.

Above all, I strive to create a space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. Whether you're facing a difficult season or looking to build healthier patterns for the future, my goal is to help you develop the confidence and tools needed to navigate life's challenges with resilience.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a strong therapeutic relationship. We'll discuss what brought you to therapy, your current concerns, your personal history, and the goals you'd like to work toward. I'll also answer any questions you have about the therapy process so you know what to expect moving forward.

Together, we'll identify your strengths, explore what's been getting in the way, and begin developing a personalized treatment plan. My goal is to create a warm, supportive, and judgment-free environment where you feel comfortable being yourself and confident that we're working together toward meaningful, lasting change.
