Great to meet you!

I've loved the field of mental health since I was a young girl. I went to NYU for my Masters in Social Work. I have been working for a private group practice with diverse supervision and continued training. I have seen a wide variety of clients aged 5 to 88. I worked exclusively with people with Parkinson's as well as having training with individuals on probation/parole in NYC. I have extensive experience with neurodivergent clients more specifically clients with Autism as well as ADHD and OCD.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be long term and built on the strong relationship between therapist and client. My approach is solution focused with forward orientation. I try to encourage clients to share at their pace as anything shared is viewed as a gift and a privilege to hear. I practice eclectic psychotherapy using a wide range of tools, trainings, and skills with my life experience to support clients in being able to achieve the desired change, acceptance, or processing they may be seeking.

What you can expect from our first session

Life is hard, but change is harder. I'm so glad you're here. I know you may have been feeling this way for a long time. Maybe this is new. Perhaps someone who loves you said it's time for therapy. What if you could deprogram yourself from harmful thoughts and build your confidence to become your best, most authentic self? How would your life change? How much different would you feel? I want you to feel safe enough to finally tell someone: what happened to you. You are no longer alone.
