Great to meet you!

I work with thoughtful, motivated, high-functioning adults who may appear successful on the outside while privately struggling with anxiety, emotional exhaustion, perfectionism, shame, people-pleasing, hypervigilance, relationship distress, or the long-term effects of complex trauma. Many of my clients are professionals, leaders, caregivers, and high achievers who are exhausted of simply managing and want to understand the deeper patterns shaping their lives. These patterns and behaviors often come from long term or long ago experiences in their lives, and my clients are ready to explore and make a change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is secular (non-religious), trauma informed, and neuroscience based. I help clients understand how the brain, nervous system, attachment patterns, and past experiences influence present day emotions, behaviors, and relationships. Therapy with me is a conversation, a journey and an exploration, for the rebuilding into who you always wanted to be.

I use a unique approach to therapy. I studied humanity from every angle, from culture and society to psychology and brain formation. I welcome clients processing complex trauma, family enmeshment, identity changes, or a "its complicated" status with belief systems. If this is you, I am ready to join you on your path to healing.

What you can expect from me

I enjoy the process of getting to know a client. A client can tell me when and where they are comfortable and what and how things need to change in the process. They are the experts on their journey and I am happy to adjust my clinical work to meet their needs, even as I work to help effect change in their lives.
