Great to meet you!

If you’ve ever thought, “Why do I keep doing this even though I know better?”, you’re in the right place. Maybe anxiety is running the show, life just threw you a plot twist you didn’t sign up for, or your relationships feel more like group projects where no one’s communicating. You’re insightful, capable, and maybe a little exhausted from overthinking everything. You don’t need someone to just nod and say, “that must be hard” (although yes, it is hard). You need someone who will help you connect the dots, understand how your nervous system is responding to stress, call out the patterns, and actually do something about them. We often look for the cause of anxiety instead of asking, "what is my anxiety trying to tell me?" Together, we'll explore the thoughts driving anxiety and how your nervous system responds to stress, uncertainty, and relationships. I'll gently challenge you, help you identify what's getting in your way, and provide tools you can actually use. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or tired of repeating the same patterns, you’re not alone, and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself. Change can feel hard, but it’s possible. If you’re ready for honest, supportive guidance with real tools, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, honest, and practical. I believe that insight is important, but insight alone doesn't create change. Together, we'll explore the patterns, beliefs, and experiences that may be keeping you stuck while building tools you can actually use in your daily life. I often help clients understand not only what's happening in their thoughts, but also how stress, anxiety, and past experiences show up in their emotions, behaviors, relationships, and nervous system. We'll get curious about what's driving the struggle rather than judging it.

You can expect me to be warm, supportive, and genuinely invested in your growth, but I'll also gently challenge you when needed. Therapy with me isn't about me telling you what to do. It's about helping you connect the dots, gain clarity, and develop the confidence to move forward in a way that feels authentic to you. There is no judgment, no expectation to have it all figured out, and no need to be the "perfect" client. You just have to show up as you are. We'll take it from there.

What you can expect from me

The first session is less like an interview and more like a conversation. We'll talk about what's bringing you in, what's been weighing on you, and what you hope will change. I'll ask questions, get curious about the patterns showing up in your life, and help you start making sense of the bigger picture. You don't need to have the "right" words or tell me your entire life story. We'll go at a pace that feels comfortable for you. My goal is to create a space where you feel understood, while also helping you gain some clarity from the very beginning. By the end of the session, we'll have a better sense of what's going on, what you want to work toward, and whether we're a good fit to work together. Therapy can feel intimidating at first, but you don't have to figure it out alone.
