Great to meet you!

I am a triple board‐certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). This unique combination allows me to care for individuals across the entire lifespan, with a deep understanding of how physical health, hormones, trauma, environment, and life transitions shape mental well‐being.

My approach is collaborative, integrative, and rooted in both conventional psychiatry and functional medicine principles. I work to understand the root causes of symptoms—not just treat them—by considering biological, psychological, hormonal, nutritional, and environmental factors. Treatment plans may include medication management, lifestyle strategies, mind‐body approaches, and supportive therapy.

My style is warm, patient‐centered, and grounded in partnership. We build your plan together, ensuring it is evidence‐based, individualized, and flexible as you grow. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, mood changes, or complex mind‐body concerns, my goal is to meet you where you are and support you toward lasting emotional and physical wellness.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is grounded in evidence‐based psychiatric practice with a strong emphasis on integrative and functional medicine principles. As a triple board‐certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), and Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), I bring a comprehensive, lifespan‐focused perspective to mental health treatment.

I evaluate symptoms through a psychiatric lens first—assessing mood, cognition, behavior, trauma history, and safety—while also exploring the biological, hormonal, nutritional, and environmental factors that often contribute to mental health concerns. This allows me to identify not only what is happening, but why.

My treatment style is collaborative, structured, and individualized. I use a combination of:

  • Medication management when appropriate
  • Functional and root‐cause assessment (sleep, stress physiology, inflammation, hormones, gut‐brain factors)
  • Integrative strategies such as lifestyle interventions, mind‐body approaches, and supportive therapy

Care is never one‐size‐fits‐all. We build your plan together, adjusting it as you improve. My goal is to provide psychiatric care that is thorough, compassionate, and aligned with your long‐term well‐being—addressing symptoms while also supporting the underlying systems that influence mental health.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a thorough, compassionate, and structured psychiatric evaluation. I take time to understand your symptoms, history, and goals while also exploring the biological, hormonal, lifestyle, and environmental factors that may be influencing your mental health.

Because I am a triple board‐certified PMHNP, FNP, and CNM, I approach mental health through a whole‐person, integrative, and functional lens. During the intake, we will discuss mood, sleep, stress patterns, medical history, trauma, nutrition, and any life transitions that may be impacting your well‐being.

My style is collaborative and patient‐centered. I’ll walk you through what I’m assessing, answer your questions, and make sure you feel heard and understood. By the end of the session, we will begin outlining an individualized, evidence‐based treatment plan that may include medication options, functional assessments, lifestyle strategies, and mind‐body approaches.

Most importantly, you can expect a safe, non‐judgmental space where we work together to identify both the symptoms and the root contributors to your mental health concerns, setting the foundation for meaningful and sustainable progress.
