Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Alabama with over six years of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. I have experience supporting individuals and families navigating a wide range of mental and behavioral health concerns, including ADHD, personality disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, grief, serious mental illness, family and relational challenges, gender and identity questions, and life transitions.

My approach to therapy is inspired by the lotus—a symbol of renewal, resilience, and peace. In my practice, I create a safe and compassionate space where clients can explore their experiences, build coping skills, and move toward meaningful change. I draw on evidence-based therapies, including ACT, CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing, tailoring treatment to meet each client’s unique needs and goals.

My approach to therapy

I bring over six years of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, which allows me to connect with clients across a wide range of experiences and life stages. One of my strengths is creating a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where clients feel seen, heard, and understood. I combine empathy with practical, evidence-based strategies, helping clients not only process their experiences but also develop tools they can use in daily life.

What sets me apart is my holistic, lotus-inspired approach to therapy—focused on renewal, resilience, and peace. I draw from a variety of evidence-based therapies, including ACT, CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing, tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs. I also prioritize collaboration, helping clients identify their values, build confidence, and take meaningful steps toward the life they want.

Whether someone is navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, relational challenges, or life transitions, I strive to meet each client where they are and support them in finding balance, clarity, and empowerment.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity to get to know each other and start building a safe, supportive space. We’ll spend time talking about what brought you to therapy, your goals, and any challenges you’re currently facing. I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences, background, and what you hope to achieve, while also giving you a chance to ask questions about therapy and my approach.

Together, we’ll begin exploring strategies and tools that fit your needs, and we’ll start shaping a plan for how we can work toward your goals. The first session is also a chance for you to get a sense of what it feels like to work together, so you can decide if this is the right fit for you.

Therapy is a collaborative process, and my goal is to make your first session feel safe, welcoming, and grounded in understanding.
