Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Gigi, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience in the social work field since 2016. I began my career working extensively with adolescents and have since transitioned to working with adults. Throughout my experience, I’ve supported individuals navigating anxiety, ADHD, trauma, family and relationship concerns, cultural challenges, and other life transitions. I also have experience working with neurodivergent individuals.

My approach is warm, curious, and collaborative. I ask thoughtful questions because I want to understand not only what you’re experiencing, but also how you think, process emotions, and make sense of the world around you. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel heard, understood, and comfortable being yourself. Together, we can work toward understanding patterns, building practical coping skills, and creating meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

I tend to ask thoughtful questions and work collaboratively with clients to identify patterns, understand the root of concerns, and develop practical strategies that feel realistic for your life.

I believe therapy should feel like a safe space where you can be open and honest without fear of judgment. I take the time to get to know each client as an individual, including how you think, communicate, process emotions, and navigate relationships and everyday life.

My goal is to help you better understand yourself, build on your strengths, develop effective coping skills, and feel more confident navigating life's challenges.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my goal is to create a comfortable, welcoming space where you can begin to feel heard and understood. We’ll spend time getting to know you, what brings you to therapy, and what you hope to gain from the experience. I’ll ask questions about your current concerns, background, relationships, and experiences to better understand the bigger picture.

Together, we’ll begin identifying your goals for therapy and discuss what you would like to work toward. You don’t need to have everything figured out before our first session. Therapy is a collaborative process, and we’ll work together to determine what approach and strategies best fit your needs. My hope is that you leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer sense of direction for our work together.
