Great to meet you!

I couldn’t be happier with my choice of career as a therapist. I decided to make this my career path because I wanted to make a difference for people like you. As someone who has always been told I have a strong sense of empathy and a lack of judgment, I have often been told by my clients that I’m someone who “just gets it.” I love being able to guide people like you to help you become the best version of yourself.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in trauma therapy, particularly trauma caused by LGBTQ+ issues, as well as trauma that leads to substance use and addiction. I believe in integrative client care – you know yourself best, and you know the best ways to help you! I use practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Gestalt Therapy to guide you in the way that best fits your needs.

What you can expect from me

I'm told that working with me is like working with a professional friend; someone that individuals can rely on that gets it, but also sees things from a professional and unbiased viewpoint. I do not like sessions where the Client just talks the entire time, or where the Therapist does the same. The relationship is the most important, and I stress that in my practice.
