Great to meet you!

Everyone struggles at some point in their life. If someone tells you otherwise, they’re probably not being honest with themselves. And here’s the thing: it’s okay. Life is hard, wonderful, and everything in between. The goal isn’t to avoid the hard parts—it’s to work through them when we feel stuck. Otherwise, we risk denying ourselves the chance to truly live. I won’t pretend I can fix everything, but I can walk with you through it. Together, we’ll work toward helping you move forward and get everything you can out of your life.

My approach to therapy

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 30 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults who have experienced trauma. Whether someone has been a victim of sexual abuse, is struggling with depression, or is trying to adjust to college life—trauma can take many forms. To me, trauma is anything that throws you off balance and rocks your world. I’ve seen it show up in countless ways, and I’ve walked alongside many people as they work through it.

My approach is simple: You lead the way—I’m here to walk beside you. I listen. Not just “hear you”—I listen to you. I listen to your story, your struggles, your goals. And together, we figure out how to work through what’s holding you back. Therapy with me is about creating a space where you feel safe, understood, and supported as you move toward healing and growth.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is all about getting to know you. I want to understand what brings you to counseling and what you're hoping to get out of it. And if you're not sure yet—that’s completely okay. You don't have to it all figured out to start.

We’ll have a conversation—not an interrogation. I’ll ask questions to learn about your life and experiences, but you lead the way. This is about you. My goal is to create a space that feels safe, supportive, and judgment-free, where you can be yourself and speak freely. I won’t give you all the answers, but I will walk with you through the questions. Together, we’ll work toward clarity, healing, and growth—so you can move forward and get everything you can out of your life.
