I have been working in the field of mental health for over 20 years. My experience includes working in the group home setting, private school settings, crisis outreach, outpatient mental health and inpatient psychiatric. I have provided assessments for the Erie County and Domestic Violence Court System and completed risks assessment in the hospital emergency room to determine the need for acute psychiatric hospitalization. In addition to knowledge and experience, I value the therapeutic relationship and utilize a strength-based approach. I will help you reach your goal, if you are ready to make the change, I am ready to help.
I support both individuals and couples in navigating emotional, psychological, and relational challenges. I will provide a safe and non-judgmental space to explore personal issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, conflict and self-esteem.
I listen. I want to hear what is working and what is not. I will provide you with the tools and support to help you achieve your personal goals.
I am easy to talk to and a good listener. The focus of sessions is what it is you'd like to gain. This can be emotional support, skill-building conflict resolution skills, symptom management or further education surrounding a mental health diagnosis. In working with couples I can assist with improving communication, resolving conflicts, rebuilding trust, and strengthening emotional connections.
