Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who supports individuals through life transitions, everyday stress, and other emotional challenges. I strive to create a warm, supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and cared for. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and person-centered, and I aim to help clients build practical tools they can use in daily life as they move toward healing and growth.

My professional background includes experience in psychiatry, mental health and substance use treatment, behavioral health, child and family services, and healthcare settings. These experiences have shaped my commitment to meeting each client with empathy, respect, and support tailored to their unique needs.

My approach to therapy

Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, and my goal is to meet you with compassion, curiosity, and care as we work through life’s stressors, challenges, and transitions together. I strive to create a safe, welcoming space where clients feel heard and respected. While I can’t “fix” things for you, I can walk alongside you, help you better understand what you’re experiencing, and support you in building tools for healing, growth, and lasting change.

My approach is collaborative and goal-oriented. In our work together, we may explore patterns that are no longer serving you, identify practical coping strategies, and create goals that feel meaningful and manageable. Therapy can sometimes feel challenging, but I aim to make that process feel supportive and grounded, moving at a pace that feels safe while still encouraging progress.

I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma processing techniques. These approaches allow me to tailor care to each client’s needs, whether we are working on emotional regulation, self-awareness, behavior change, healing from past experiences, or building a more fulfilling day-to-day life.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll begin building the foundation for a strong therapeutic relationship. My hope is to create a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and respected as we get to know one another. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, review confidentiality and informed consent, explore relevant background and history, and assess any immediate needs or safety concerns. I look forward to supporting you as you take meaningful steps toward healing, growth, and the life you want for yourself.
