Great to meet you!

Hello! I have six years of experience working in the addiction treatment industry, both as a therapist and as a Clinical Director of an outpatient treatment center. The scope of my clinical experience includes working with adolescents, adults, families, and couples. My expertise is in working with problematic relationships to substances, food, and the body.I have a Master's in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, with extensive training in Narrative and Solution Focused Brief Therapy. I hold a Bachelor in Communications from the University of California, Berkeley. LMFT#87279.

My approach to therapy

I have extensive training in the Narrative Therapy model of therapy. My goal is to ask you questions that will bring to light what matters to you, what’s getting in the way of your preferred life, and what resources you have that can help you with today’s life projects. I respect where you are in your life and firmly believe that you are capable of deciding where you want it to go.

My communication style

People who have worked with me often say that our sessions feel like conversations. My therapeutic style is collaborative, conversational, and solution-focused.

What you can expect from me

My treatment style is collaborative and curious. When it comes to your life, I believe that you are the expert. My job is to hold onto hope for you when it’s difficult for you to do so on your own.

In the first session, clients will have the opportunity to share what brought them into the therapeutic space. I will be asking questions to illuminate both the problems at hand and the resiliency and resourcefulness. I will reflect back to make sure that I understand their hopes for our work together.
