Great to meet you!

I am a compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with experience in both acute inpatient psychiatric care and home health settings. My focus is on fostering resilience, helping individuals develop coping skills and inner strength for long-term recovery. I am skilled in conducting thorough assessments, creating personalized care plans, and providing trauma-informed care. A continuous learner, I stay current with best practices to ensure high-quality care. I am committed to building strong therapeutic relationships and advocating for mental health, empowering patients to achieve stability and well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach to providing care is centered on a holistic, patient-focused model that prioritizes empathy, trust, and collaboration. I work to create a safe, non-judgmental environment, taking into account each patient’s unique history and experiences, particularly any past trauma. I focus on building resilience by helping individuals develop coping strategies and empowering them to take an active role in their treatment. By working closely with patients to develop individualized care plans, I ensure that their goals and needs are central to the process. I combine evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness, while considering the broader social and environmental context in which they live. Ultimately, I am committed to providing compassionate, trauma-informed care that fosters healing, autonomy, and long-term well-being.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust and empathy, where you will feel heard and understood in a warm, welcoming environment. The aim of first meeting is to make sure you are comfortable and at ease. Therapy process will be clearly explained, including confidentiality and expectations, while being transparent about my approach.
