Great to meet you!

My name is Gamaelle Lubin, and I am a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience working with children and adolescents in a variety of settings. For the past three years, I have been providing therapeutic services tailored to the unique emotional and behavioral needs of youth, helping them navigate challenges and build resilience.

I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from Florida International University in 2022. I am deeply committed to fostering growth, healing, and empowerment in the individuals and families I serve. My clinical approach is integrative, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Throughout my career, I have worked with children and adolescents facing a wide range of concerns, including anger management, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and oppositional defiant disorder (ODD). I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where my clients feel heard, understood, and equipped with the tools they need to thrive.

I have always had a passion for working with youth, and I am driven by the goal of eventually starting my own practice to expand access to quality mental health care and positively impact a broader community.

My approach to therapy

I take a client-centered approach and strongly believe in the importance of truly listening to each individual, while honoring and valuing their right to self-determination and self-expression.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, clients can expect a supportive space where I actively listen and seek to fully understand their primary concerns. I may ask thoughtful questions to gain deeper insight into who they are, allowing me to communicate more effectively and tailor my approach to their needs. I believe it is essential to truly get to know each client and build a strong therapeutic rapport, as this foundation is key to developing a meaningful and effective therapeutic relationship.
