Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Gamaelle Lubin, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience supporting children and adolescents. If you're a parent worried about your child — or a young person feeling overwhelmed — I'm here to help you feel heard, understood, and equipped with real tools to move forward.

For the past three years I've focused on the unique emotional and behavioral needs of youth, helping them navigate challenges and build lasting resilience. I work with children and teens facing anxiety, anger management, OCD, ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), and other behavioral concerns. I earned my Master's in Social Work from Florida International University, and I'm deeply committed to fostering growth, healing, and empowerment in the individuals and families I serve.

My approach is integrative and evidence-based, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) — tailored to each client rather than one-size-fits-all.

My approach to therapy

I take a client-centered approach and believe deeply in truly listening to each person, while honoring their right to self-determination and self-expression. Above all, I want my clients — and their families — to feel safe, respected, and understood.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a warm, supportive space where my only goal is to understand what brought you here. I'll listen closely and ask thoughtful questions to get to know you (or your child) as a whole person, so I can tailor our work together to your needs. Building a strong, trusting relationship is the foundation of meaningful progress, and it's where we'll start.
