Great to meet you!

With over 17 years as a licensed therapist and more than 20 years of experience working with children and adolescents, I bring a deep understanding of the healing process across different stages of life. My background includes working as a school counselor and as a therapist in residential treatment settings, where I supported youth facing a wide range of emotional and behavioral challenges. Today, I work with children, teens, adults, couples, and families, offering a supportive and grounded space where meaningful change can happen. I specialize in trauma and am certified in EMDR therapy and trauma focused treatment. Whether you are navigating the effects of past experiences, struggling with mood or relationship challenges, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, my goal is to help you move forward with greater clarity, connection, and confidence.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is holistic, down to earth, and centered on seeing the full picture rather than only focusing on symptoms. I believe healing happens when people feel safe enough to show up authentically without fear of judgment. Together, we work to better understand patterns, build insight, and develop practical tools that support lasting growth and emotional well being. I draw from evidence based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), EMDR, Somatic Integration, and Family Systems Therapy. I also have extensive experience in reunification family therapy, helping families rebuild trust, communication, and connection in supportive and meaningful ways.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is simply a chance for us to get to know one another and begin building a comfortable, supportive therapeutic relationship. We’ll talk about what has been going on in your life, what brought you to therapy, and what you hope to gain from the process. You are welcome to share at your own pace, and there is no pressure to have everything figured out right away. My goal is to create a relaxed and welcoming environment where you feel heard, accepted, and supported as we decide together what moving forward may look like for you.
