Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Psychologist with a PhD and more than 20 years of experience providing individual psychotherapy to adults and seniors. I offer virtual therapy sessions throughout Massachusetts, which means you can access high-quality, evidence-based care from wherever you are most comfortable.

Much of my work focuses on anxiety, depression, women's issues, relationship difficulties, grief and loss, life transitions, and maternal mental health — including the challenges of infertility, postpartum depression, and navigating the challenges of parenthood. I also have deep experience supporting busy professionals navigating burnout, stress, and the pressure of high-achieving careers.

As a South Asian psychologist, I am fluent in Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu. I offer culturally sensitive therapy for individuals from South Asian and immigrant backgrounds — including those navigating the intersection of cultural identity, family expectations, intergenerational dynamics, and the experience of building a life between two cultures.

Many of my clients tell me they've been looking for a therapist who truly understands where they come from. I do.

My approach to therapy

My approach is integrative and evidence-based. I draw on several well-researched therapy modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), and attachment-based and relational approaches. I tailor the methods we use to what fits you — not the other way around.

I believe therapy works best when it builds on your existing strengths, not just what's going wrong. In our sessions, I will help you understand the patterns keeping you stuck, develop practical tools you can use in your everyday life, and find a direction that feels true to who you are. My style is warm, curious, and collaborative — I take your goals seriously, and I show up fully present to help you pursue them.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a conversation, not an evaluation. We will talk about what brought you to therapy, what you are hoping to change or understand, and how I work. There is no pressure to have all the answers — many people come to therapy feeling uncertain, overwhelmed, or unsure where to start. That is completely normal, and it is exactly where we begin.

As we get to know each other, we'll develop a shared understanding of what you are working through and build a plan that reflects your values and goals. My sessions are conducted virtually, so you can join from home, your office, or anywhere private and comfortable in Massachusetts. I work with adults and seniors across the lifespan — including professionals, students, new parents, and individuals navigating major life transitions.
