My name is Rick and I am excited to start your journey to healing and wholeness with you.

One truth only matters - While I am the professional, YOU are the expert. We will use self-exploration, self-accountability and self-compassion to bring about transformation.

What a joy it has been to have walk with former and present patients over the past 5 years!

I earned my Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2020 from Kean Jersey City (formerly New Jersey City University).

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) within the State of New Jersey, and a National Certified Counselor (NCC) endorsed by National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC).

I specialize in addiction (substance and behavioral), trauma and family systems.

I consider myself to be a clinician with an eclectic-approach. Whatever is needed from me by you that is what will be used for the optimal therapy experience and quality of treatment.

The modules I selective utilize are Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Rational Emotional Behavioral Therapy (REBT), Narrative Therapy and Psychoanalysis.

My therapeutic focus built on rapport, collaboration and using the best evidenced-based approaches available.

Our first session together would primarily focus on knowing your story. I am not just treating a set of symptoms or maladies. I am treating a mother, father, at one-point the captain of her cheerleading squad, once a member of the junior ROTC. Your life experiences influence who you are today.

It my job to walk with you and explore how we can both bring about your healing and to live a life worth living.
