Great to meet you!

If you or your child are feeling stuck, overwhelmed by everyday stress, or navigating ADHD, depression, or anxiety, you don’t have to figure it out alone. I work with adults, adolescents, and children who need a steady, understanding space to process life transitions, relationship challenges, and emotional hurdles. Along with years of supporting youth, men, and families, I bring a grounded, human-first presence shaped by my creative life in Austin. I don’t believe in rigid formulas or judgment—my goal is to meet you where you are, help you uncover your strengths, and partner with you to move forward on your own terms.

My approach to therapy

My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), grounded in a relational foundation and Motivational Interviewing. In sessions, you set the pace while we focus on practical, forward-moving tools. With CBT, we identify and reframe cognitive distortions like catastrophizing or all-or-nothing thinking. Through ACT, we clarify your personal values and cultivate psychological flexibility to handle stress with purpose. Using SFBT and Motivational Interviewing, we tap into your strengths, resolve ambivalence, and outline concrete, actionable steps. You will experience our work as a warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental partnership dedicated to your growth.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, so our first session is designed to be a calm, low-pressure conversation held in a comfortable, secure virtual format. You are always in control of the pace—you only share what you feel comfortable sharing, and there is no pressure to have everything figured out right away. We will use this initial time to explore what brought you into counseling, what goals or relief you’re seeking, and address any questions you have about our process. By the end of our first visit, we will decide collaboratively if we are a great fit and outline a clear, gentle roadmap for working together.
