Great to meet you!

If you choose to work with me, I will provide the highest level of support, clinical insight, and guidance within my scope of practice. I bring over 30 years of experience in the behavioral health field and have been licensed as an LCSW since 2012. Throughout my career, I have conducted thousands of assessments and developed comprehensive, clearly structured treatment plans designed to promote meaningful and sustainable outcomes.

While no clinician is perfect, I am committed, effective, and grounded in empathy. I strive to understand each individual as a whole person rather than a set of symptoms, and I work to create a therapeutic environment that is respectful, collaborative, and conducive to lasting change.

My approach to therapy

I bring a down-to-earth, practical approach to therapy, grounded in a solution-focused style that is clear, direct, and easy to understand. Although my approach may differ from that of other clinicians, it has consistently supported clients in achieving positive and empowering outcomes. I also recognize that each individual has unique needs, and I am able to adapt my therapeutic style to align with what works best for you.

What you can expect from me

The first session will focus on gathering information, exploring the factors that may influence your therapeutic goals, and establishing the initial structure and expectations for our work together. It is also an opportunity for us to get to know one another and determine whether we are a good fit for a collaborative therapeutic relationship.

It is completely normal to have questions, hesitations, or uncertainties about starting therapy. My aim during our first session is to provide clarity about the process, address your concerns, and help you feel more confident about the path ahead. By the end of our meeting, you should have a clear understanding of what to expect and how we can move forward in a way that supports your well-being and goals.
