Great to meet you!

Hello, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families experience healing, growth, and meaningful change. My professional background includes working with children, adolescents, and adults facing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I also specialize in working with individuals and families impacted by autism spectrum disorders and behavioral challenges, providing practical tools, structure, and compassionate support.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is integrative and personalized. I use evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills when appropriate. I believe therapy should be a collaborative process where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to reach their goals.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my main goal is to help you feel comfortable, understood, and respected. We will spend time discussing what brought you to therapy, your current concerns, and what you hope to achieve. You can share as much or as little as you feel ready to share—there is no pressure.

I will also ask some questions about your personal history, relationships, emotional health, and strengths so I can better understand your situation as a whole person, not just the problem. This helps me develop a treatment plan tailored to your specific needs and goals.

Together, we will begin identifying priorities and possible next steps. When appropriate, I may also provide initial coping strategies or tools you can start using right away.

The first session is also your opportunity to ask questions, learn about my approach, and decide if I am the right fit for you. Therapy works best when you feel safe and supported.

My goal is that you leave the first session feeling heard, with more clarity, and with hope about the process ahead.
