Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Gemini!

I’m a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) and a graduate of Ohio University, where I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work in 2017. I’ve had the privilege of serving individuals and families throughout Southern Ohio as a social worker for the past 12 years.

For nearly nine years, I worked at a nonprofit as psychotherapist, where I supported individuals navigating a wide range of life challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, employment problems, family problems. grief, relationship difficulties, and significant life transitions. My experience has allowed me to work with people from many different backgrounds and walks of life, and I truly believe that every person’s story deserves to be heard without judgment.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, compassionate, and holistic. I believe healing involves caring for the whole person—mind, body, and emotional well-being. My goal is to create a safe and comfortable space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported as you work toward becoming the best version of yourself.

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, and you don’t have to have everything figured out before you reach out. Whether you’re struggling with something right now or simply feel ready for a change, I’m here to walk alongside you.

I look forward to getting to know you and being part of your journey toward growth, healing, and finding your way back to yourself. 💜

What you can expect from me

During your first session, we will begin by getting to know one another and creating a comfortable, supportive space where you can feel heard and understood. I will complete a biopsychosocial assessment to learn more about your current concerns, personal history, medical and mental health background, relationships, social supports, and the experiences that have shaped you. We will talk about what brought you to therapy and identify goals for our work together. I will also review confidentiality, privacy, and the limits of confidentiality so you understand your rights and what you can expect from our therapeutic relationship. Most importantly, there is no expectation that you have everything figured out in your first session—we will work together at a pace that feels safe and appropriate for you.
