Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and my background blends clinical skills in both counseling and nursing. I have years of experience working with adults navigating anxiety, relationship patterns, identity questions, and major life transitions.

I’m a clear communicator and bring emotional steadiness and the ability to understand people quickly to my work.

In my practice, I work primarily with adults who want to understand themselves more deeply, break long‐standing patterns, and feel more grounded and confident in their daily lives. I have extensive experience supporting clients who struggle with self‐criticism, avoidance, perfectionism, and the lingering impact of family dynamics. I also work with high‐functioning professionals to help them maximize their insights, achieve balance, and unlock their potential.

Outside of my clinical work, I’m grounded by a long, loving marriage, a close circle of friends, and a life that includes equal parts structure and humor. I’m a dog person, someone who values connection and curiosity, and I try to show up fully in the relationships that matter. These parts of my life shape the way I practice: with steadiness, clarity, and a genuine respect for the complexity of being human.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, direct, and attuned. I pay close attention to — and help you see — the emotional and relational “architecture” beneath your experiences so we can understand not just what’s happening, but why, as well as what may need to shift for you to feel more steady, capable, and connected. I work collaboratively with you and at a steady pace that helps you build insight while also making meaningful, real‐world changes. Clients often describe my style as steady, clear, and deeply human. Together we create a space where you can think, feel, and be understood without pressure or judgment.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a first session that feels steady, clear, and grounded. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to understand what’s bringing you in, learn more about your history, and get a sense of your goals. Together we’ll start identifying any emotional or relational patterns underneath your concerns, so we have a shared sense of direction for our work. The pace is calm and collaborative — no rapid‐fire questions or pressure to disclose more than you’re ready for. Most clients leave the first session feeling understood, more settled, and clearer about what they want from therapy
