Great to meet you!

I’m Geneveve, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and founder of Ohana Social Work Consultants. I’ve spent more than eight years working with people through anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, self-esteem, relationships, and major life changes. I believe therapy works best when you can show up as yourself, feel understood, and have someone genuinely meet you where you are.

My approach to therapy

I’m pretty down-to-earth in how I work with clients. We’ll talk through what’s going on, make sense of the thoughts, emotions, and patterns that may be showing up, and figure out what actually works for you. I use CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care, but I don’t believe therapy should feel one-size-fits-all. We’ll build practical strategies together that fit your life and help you make meaningful changes.

What you can expect from me

The first session is really about getting to know you, what brought you to therapy, what’s been going on, and what you’d like to be different. You don’t have to come in knowing exactly what to say or what your goals are. We’ll figure that out together. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, comfortable, and like we have a clear direction for moving forward.
