Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Genevieve. I support people navigating big life transitions — especially athletes moving beyond their sport — as well as individuals dealing with addiction, substance use, or feeling disconnected from who they are or where they’re headed. My style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in practical tools. I bring curiosity, compassion, and a bit of humor to our work, helping you understand your patterns, make sense of your emotions, and move through change with more clarity and confidence. My goal is to create a space where you don’t have to perform — you can show up exactly as you are, and we’ll navigate the next steps together.

My approach to therapy

My approach is direct, curious, and compassionate. I value honesty and clarity in our conversations, asking thoughtful questions to help you uncover patterns, gain insight, and move forward. I combine practical strategies with empathy (and a bit of humor), creating a space where you can explore challenges openly, process emotions, and take meaningful steps toward change.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and understanding what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask questions to learn about your experiences, goals, and any challenges you’re facing, and together we’ll start identifying patterns and areas to focus on. You can expect a space that’s direct, curious, and nonjudgmental. By the end of the session, we’ll have a sense of how we might work together and some next steps to begin moving toward your goals.
