Great to meet you!

Hi, My name is Gentry Gibson, but some clients call me GG for my first and last initials, which I welcome! I'm a licensed mental health counselor with a specialization in cognitive behavior therapy and mindfulness-based practices. My core areas of focus are anxiety, depression, and stress management. I also help clients with development of healthier coping skills, life transitions, burnout, increased self-esteem, and perfectionism.

My approach to therapy

My approach is structured and practical (CBT-based), and focused on helping you start to feel some shift in a really concrete way.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a warm, supportive space where we begin to get to know each other and explore what brings you into therapy. I'll ask some questions about your background, current concerns, and goals so I can better understand how to support you. We'll also talk about your strengths, what's already helping, and what you'd like to work toward in therapy. My approach is collaborative, practical, and tailored to your individual needs.
