Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. My approach is collaborative and strengths-based, and I believe that meaningful change happens when individuals feel supported while building on the resilience they already possess.

I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in both child welfare and behavioral health settings. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, stress management, and emotional regulation.

Whether you’re navigating a difficult season, healing from past experiences, or seeking personal growth, my goal is to help you gain insight, develop practical coping strategies, and move toward a healthier, more fulfilling life. I look forward to partnering with you on your journey toward healing and lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is rooted in creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel truly heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change. I believe therapy is a collaborative journey, and I work alongside clients to explore their experiences, identify their goals, gain insight, and develop practical tools that promote emotional wellness, healing, and personal growth.

I utilize a trauma-informed and strengths-based approach, integrating evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, solution-focused strategies, and motivational interviewing. I help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while building healthier coping strategies, increasing self-awareness, and strengthening resilience.

With experience in child welfare and behavioral health, I have supported individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, and difficulties with emotional regulation. I recognize that each person’s journey is unique, and I tailor therapy to meet clients where they are while honoring their individual experiences, strengths, and needs.

My goal is to provide an authentic and compassionate therapeutic relationship where clients feel validated, supported, and equipped with the tools needed to overcome challenges and move toward the life they envision for themselves.

What you can expect from me

Your first session with me is an opportunity to begin building a trusting and supportive therapeutic relationship. I strive to create a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable sharing your story at your own pace. I understand that reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable, and my goal is to help you feel seen, heard, and respected from the very beginning.

During our initial session, we will explore what brings you to therapy, your current challenges, your strengths, and the goals you hope to achieve. We will work together to identify areas where you would like to create change and develop a personalized approach that fits your unique needs and experiences.

Clients can expect a compassionate and collaborative approach focused on self-discovery, healing, and growth. I believe you are the expert in your own life, and my role is to provide guidance, support, and evidence-based tools to help you navigate challenges, strengthen your relationships, improve emotional well-being, and move toward the life you desire.

My hope is that you leave your first session feeling understood, encouraged, and confident that you have a partner in your therapeutic journey.
