Great to meet you!

I’m Georgia Verret, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of diverse healthcare experience. My background includes psychiatric and medical care, giving me a well-rounded perspective on the connection between mental and physical well-being. I provide compassionate, evidence-based care for children ages 6+, adolescents, and adults experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and other mental health conditions. At Blessed Assurance Psychiatric & Behavioral Health, my goal is to create a welcoming space where you feel heard, respected, and confident in your care.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is compassionate, collaborative, and centered on you as a whole person—not simply a diagnosis. I take time to listen, understand your concerns, and develop an individualized treatment plan that may include medication management, supportive psychotherapy, education, and practical coping strategies. I believe you should understand your treatment options and feel empowered to have an active voice in your care. Together, we’ll work toward meaningful progress, greater stability, and improved emotional well-being.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for me to truly understand you—not just your symptoms or diagnosis. We’ll explore what you’ve been experiencing, what matters most to you, and what you hope to achieve through treatment. You can expect a warm, welcoming, and judgment-free environment where your questions and concerns are valued. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and hopeful—with a clear path forward.
