Great to meet you!

I was born in Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico, and I am fluent in both English and Spanish. I earned my B.A. in Psychology from The University of Texas at El Paso and completed my M.A. in Counseling, along with my clinical internship, through Webster University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) in Texas.

For more than 20 years, I have worked as a therapist across a variety of clinical settings, gaining broad experience supporting diverse individuals and families. I have a deep commitment to helping people who have often felt misunderstood, dismissed, mistreated, or unsupported by important systems in their lives. My goal is to create a safe, trusting, and compassionate therapeutic relationship where clients feel genuinely seen and heard.

My clinical experience includes working with anxiety, depression, complex trauma, chronic pain management, family conflict, interpersonal relationships, couples, dating, parenting challenges, and issues related to social and racial injustice. I also have a special focus on supporting individuals navigating intergenerational trauma, guilt, shame, grief, and identity-related struggles.

I believe therapy can be a meaningful space for healing, self-understanding, and growth, and I strive to meet each client with authenticity, respect, and care.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach focuses on helping individuals understand how early life experiences, attachment patterns, identity, family roles, and relational systems shape the way they experience themselves and others today. I work collaboratively with clients to explore the emotional patterns, beliefs, and protective responses that may contribute to distress, overwhelm, relationship difficulties, or feeling disconnected from themselves.

My goal is to support clients in developing a deeper understanding of their story while creating new pathways toward healing, self-compassion, emotional balance, and more meaningful relationships. Together, we work toward gently reaching the parts of ourselves that may feel stuck, fearful, conflicted, or disconnected, and understanding how those parts developed with care rather than judgment.

I strive to create a therapeutic space that feels safe, thoughtful, authentic, and supportive throughout the healing process.

I am currently accepting new clients and welcome the opportunity to connect through a consultation session on the Teladoc platform to help determine whether we are a good fit. Building a strong therapeutic connection is an important part of meaningful and effective therapy.

What you can expect from me

I strive to prioritize each client’s needs by approaching therapy with transparency, authenticity, empathy, and an open, nonjudgmental mindset. I believe the therapeutic relationship should feel safe, collaborative, and supportive, allowing clients the space to explore their experiences honestly and at their own pace.

I also recognize that beginning therapy—or continuing it—can sometimes bring uncertainty. Clients always have the autonomy to decide what feels right for them, and when questions or doubts arise, I encourage open reflection and conversation about the thoughts and emotions that may be coming up throughout the process.
