I have over 25 years of experience, ranging from family therapy to work place employee assistance. Master's degrees in Social Work and Criminal Justice. I have worked with all ages from 6 to 80+ doing, individual, family, couples and group therapy. My specialized trainings are in the areas of; family therapy, hypnotherapy, couples work, mindfulness, trauma work, and substance abuse.
I have a direct and supportive approach. Building confidence and self trust, resolving over thinking, being stuck and facing crisis. Therapy tools include, Internal Family Systems, EMDR, hypnosis, mindfulness, Imago therapy and more.
Clients can expect to have a plan to know where they are going and what steps are necessary to get there. There will also be work on growing and establishing self trust. Often times there will be exercises and new approaches to try outside the office.
