Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental healthcare. With a strong background in both nursing and psychiatric care, I am passionate about reducing the stigma surrounding mental health and empowering individuals to reclaim their quality of life. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, Schizophrenia Spectrum and Other Psychotic Disorders, sleep disorder, cognitive disorder, and trauma across the lifespan. I have experience working in both inpatient and outpatient settings and have a strong understanding of evidence-based practices for treating mental illness in adults.

My approach to therapy

My approach to mental health is holistic, collaborative, and trauma informed. I believe that you are the expert on your own lived experience, and my role is to act as a partner and guide in your wellness journey.

Whole-Person Wellness: We will look beyond just symptom management to consider how your lifestyle, sleep, stressors, and physical health impact your mental well-being.

Tailored Treatment: I utilize a combination of medication management, supportive therapy, and practical coping strategies to create a care plan that fits your unique needs and values.

What you can expect from me

From your very first appointment, my goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental, and welcoming space where you feel truly heard.

Initial Evaluation: A comprehensive 60-minute discussion covering your current symptoms, medical and psychiatric history, and personal goals.

Ongoing Follow-Ups: Collaborative 20-30 minute sessions focused on monitoring progress, discussing medication adjustments, and practicing therapeutic skills.

Open Communication: You will always be actively involved in decision-making regarding your treatment plan.

I stay current with developments and research in the field of psychiatry by regularly reading relevant journals, attending conferences and workshops, and participating in continuing education courses. I also participate in professional organizations and stay connected with other psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners to discuss current research, share clinical experiences and learn new techniques.
