Great to meet you!

I have dedicated my career to helping individuals improve their mental health and overall well-being, with experience working in a variety of mental health settings since 2010. As a military veteran, I have firsthand insight into the unique challenges that can arise from military service, including the emotional and psychological impact of deployment, transition to civilian life, trauma, anxiety, and depression. In addition to working with veterans, I specialize in addiction medicine and have extensive experience supporting individuals managing substance use disorders, mood disorders, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, and other mental health conditions. My goal is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care that empowers you to make meaningful progress toward a healthier, more fulfilling life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to treatment is collaborative, personalized, and centered around your unique needs and goals. I believe that building a trusting relationship is the foundation of effective care, so I take the time to truly get to know you beyond your symptoms. During our sessions, I strive to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable sharing your experiences openly. Together, we will explore your personal history, identify the challenges you're facing, and develop a treatment plan tailored to your circumstances. Whether your care includes therapy, medication management, or a combination of both, my focus is on helping you achieve lasting improvements while ensuring you feel heard and supported every step of the way.

What you can expect from me

During our first appointment, we'll spend time discussing your concerns, medical and mental health history, current symptoms, and the goals you hope to accomplish through treatment. This initial conversation allows us to create a comprehensive plan that reflects your priorities and sets a clear path forward. If medication is part of your treatment, I typically schedule more frequent follow-up visits in the beginning to carefully monitor your progress, evaluate how you're responding, and make any necessary adjustments. My commitment is to provide ongoing support, open communication, and individualized care so you feel confident and supported throughout your mental health journey.
