Great to meet you!

Welcome! My name is Gessica (pronounced like Jessica) and I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida with over a decade of experience helping individuals navigate life's challenges. After earning both my undergraduate and graduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh, I dedicated myself to supporting adults and adolescents through their unique journeys. I specialize in anxiety, depression, perinatal issues, divorce/relationship issues, life transitions, and career counseling.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach is warm and compassionate, focusing on creating a safe space where you can explore your feelings work towards lasting change. I use a client-centered approach, while also offering tangible tools and strategies to help reduce symptoms and manage issues. I look forward to walking alongside you on your path to well-being.

What you can expect from our first session

The first session is where you can share your background, discuss what brought you to therapy, as well as ask questions about me and the therapy process. We'll explore and develop goals and objectives that will guide our sessions. I aim to create a non-judgmental, relaxed environment to process your thoughts and feelings. We'll work together to identify manageable and easy-to-implement strategies to address your problems and achieve your goals.
