Great to meet you!

We all want to feel better and more at ease in our lives. In my work as a therapist, I’ve seen that meaningful change is possible when you feel supported, understood, and empowered to take an honest look at what’s holding you back. I work collaboratively with clients to address the patterns, stressors, and experiences that contribute to anxiety, depression, and ongoing stress. My goal is to help you reconnect with your own strengths and move toward changes that feel realistic, sustainable, and aligned with who you want to be.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, thoughtful, and direct. I often describe my role as holding up a compassionate mirror so you can better understand yourself from multiple angles. I aim to be affirming and supportive, while also offering gentle challenges when they can help promote growth. I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and humanistic principles to help you explore thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in a balanced and meaningful way. Together, we focus on increasing insight, building skills, and creating practical changes that support long-term well-being.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, we’ll begin by getting to know each other and creating a space that feels safe, respectful, and collaborative. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you’d like to change or understand better, and what has or hasn’t worked for you in the past. You won’t be pressured to share anything before you’re ready. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, grounded, and more connected to your own ability to create the change you’re seeking.
