Great to meet you!

I was born in Puerto Rico and raised in the United States in a military family, a foundation that shaped my deep understanding of structure, resilience, and the importance of community. I hold a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling and a Master of Arts in International Studies and Business.

With over 12 years of experience in the mental health field, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals ages 6 and up, supporting them through life’s challenges with compassion and clinical expertise. My approach is integrative and person-centered, and I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions as well as addiction and substance use.

I strive to create a safe, affirming space for healing, growth, and empowerment. Whether working in-person or via telehealth, I aim to make therapy accessible, engaging, and meaningful.

My approach to therapy

I provide outpatient therapy for adults with co-occurring disorders, including mental health and substance use concerns, as well as for children and adolescents managing behavioral challenges and emotional needs. Using a blend of Motivational Enhancement, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Brief Psychodynamic interventions, I help clients address symptoms related to depression, anxiety, trauma, and abuse. My approach is compassionate, culturally informed, and tailored to meet each individual where they are in their healing journey

What you can expect from me

In sessions, my intention is to focus on the unique needs of each individual by offering a supportive, validating, and nonjudgmental space. I strive to empower clients through education on effective coping strategies, collaborative goal setting, and personalized therapeutic work. Together, we explore meaningful ways to process life’s challenges, build resilience, and move toward healing and growth.
