Great to meet you!

I am a clinical social worker dedicating to providing a supportive, non-judgmental space where clients can explore unresolved traumas, identify unhealthy patterns in relationships and learn to reframe limited beliefs that they may have about themselves as well as the world around them. I value working with people from a wide range of cultural backgrounds and life experiences. In the last few years, I have extensive experience working closely with Hispanic women aged 20-55 who are struggling with depression, anxiety and trauma. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness based practices to help clients gain insight and learn coping strategies to deal more effectively with the various stressors in their personal/professional life.

My approach to therapy

I truly believe in building a genuine connection with each client and taking the time to learn what are the issues that are affecting their mental well-being. As a clinical social worker, I make sure that compassion is always present in the therapeutic process and that each client feels empower to make the necessary changes to lead a more authentic, fulfilling life.

What you can expect from me

From the first session, we will focus on getting to know one another and explore what brings you to therapy. I will review with you about confidentiality, the therapy process and give you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
