Great to meet you!

I’m drawn to therapy because I’ve seen and personally experienced how powerful it can be to have a safe place to sort through what feels confusing, heavy, or overwhelming. I believe people deserve space to understand themselves with honesty and compassion, and to learn new ways of relating to their own emotions and relationships. That belief is what guides how I show up with clients: present, grounded, and curious.

I see therapy as a place where you can catch your breath, understand your patterns, and practice new ways of responding that actually feel good to you. My role is to offer guidance, structure, and steadiness while you do the work that matters to you.

I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker (I.2507541) and earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degree at The Ohio State University. I have experience in both private practice and community mental health, working with people of all ages. I am formally trained in EMDR through EMDR Consulting, and feel passionate about it’s effectiveness in treating trauma and related issues. My interests include betrayal trauma, sexual issues, anxiety and relational conflict.

My approach to therapy

I personally believe in Restoration Therapy because it gives language to the patterns so many of us struggle with but can’t always name. It helps us understand the pain that shaped us, the identities we’ve carried because of it, and the reactive cycles that keep us stuck. What I appreciate most about this model is that it doesn’t stop at insight, it offers a way forward. It teaches us how to choose a healthier identity, interrupt old patterns, and move toward relationships and choices that reflect who we want to be.

I am EMDR trained as well which is a treatment model that helps reduce the impact of traumatic events or memories. We can discuss if this is the right treatment approach for you.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will spend time getting to know each other, and I will acquaint you with the therapeutic process. This is your time to ask any questions as well so that we can build a solid plan for you.
