Great to meet you!

I’m a Master’s-level Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) who believes that feeling truly heard and understood is an important part of the therapeutic process. I’ve had the opportunity to work with clients across the lifespan, from children as young as five to adults in their 70s and beyond, supporting people through a wide range of emotional, behavioral, relationship, and life challenges. I strive to create a warm, welcoming, and judgment-free space where you can feel comfortable being yourself. My goal is to meet you where you are, work collaboratively to understand what you need, and help you develop meaningful tools and strategies to move toward the life you want.

My approach to therapy

My specialties include working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, eating disorders, and perinatal mental health concerns, including both perinatal and postpartum depression. I have experience helping clients navigate intrusive thoughts, anxiety and overwhelm, difficulties with focus and organization, changes in mood, body image and eating concerns, and the many emotional adjustments that can come with pregnancy and parenthood. I take a compassionate, individualized approach and work collaboratively with each client to better understand their experiences, develop practical coping strategies, and build on their existing strengths.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we’ll take some time to get to know one another and begin building a comfortable, trusting therapeutic relationship. I’ll invite you to share what brings you to therapy, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you hope to gain from our work together. We’ll talk about your current concerns, relevant background and experiences, and begin identifying goals for therapy. Most importantly, there is no pressure to have everything figured out during our first meeting. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you and work together to create a treatment approach that feels supportive, practical, and tailored to your needs.
